Thanks to all our blog readers....

A BIG thank you to all who stuck with us, the first UK challenge blog, from day 1. When we first started the challenges and prompts there were no other blogs catering to UK scrappers and crafters, now there are many, you can find a challenge blog for just about whatever part of your hobby fancy! there's no shortage of inspiration out there. After 19 months of challenges, we have decided to take an extended break to recharge the batteries and will not be returning to set challenges in the near future. We have enjoyed our time challenging each other and hopefully inspiring some of you to join in. The blog will remain online so past dares can still be viewed.

Happy Scrapping xxxx

#75 Christmas is coming

How many days until Christmas? Twelve days. That is all! It is such a busy time of the year it is easy to be so caught up in all the to'ing and fro'ing getting all the shopping and preparations sorted out, that it is easy to miss out on taking time to enjoy the season and what it means to each of us individually. So we are hoping that our Christmas themed projects in the next couple of weeks will encourage you to take a little time for yourself, to create something that reflects the essence of your Christmas, whether it be family, friends or your faith.

74 Vintage/Grandparents

This week's group are looking at a Vintage and/or Grandparents theme. Scrapping vintage photos can be a daunting prospect for many who feel that such layouts need to formal and austere however contemporary colours and fun can also be part of scrapping these photos - after all not all memories are serious and scrapping can and should reflect this!

#73 Childhood Favourites

Oooh, thought Blogger wasn't going to let us play tonight, that image upload button was being a bit of a nightmare!

This week's group had the theme of childhood favourites to work to and, as you can see, that brought back many fond memories for some. Try journaling about your own childhood favourites, remembering those small but important details. Then perhaps do the same for your own children.

#72 Numbers Up!

Numbers. Our whole lives seem to be based around numbers. Dates, milestone years, working hours, and just now the Countdown to Christmas. This week's group were challenged to make a layout based on numbers relevant to their own lives.

#71 Chipboard

Chipboard has become a big staple in scrapbook stash mountains up and down the country. This week's group of challengers have made a concerted effort to undo those lovingly stockpiled packages and use a myriad of chipboard shapes on their pages.
