New look dares for the new look Speshals :) For each dare we have always taken a title and worked from there to create layouts....well from now on expect the unexpected!! Occasionally we may have titles but we feel its time to move onwards and upwards from the usual and into a whole new arena - we will bring you layouts, altered art, atc's and home decor. With 12 inspirational girls working on the team now I am sure there will be something to inspire everyone :)

This weeks dare is to get into that kitchen and rattle the pots and pans! Take an object out of the kitchen and update its look or create a layout based around your abilities in the kitchen - the choice is yours :)

We have a slide gallery which will be updated with each layout you create and link to in the comments section - each month we will chose a winner at random from all those uploaded to the gallery! Each entry to the gallery earns you one ticket into the draw so why not take part every week and increase your chances of winning :)

Please see the girls personal blogs for information on materials and techniques used in their challenge pieces.

I can see....

What do you see when you take pictures? I dont just mean the image in front of you, do you see the emotion in the shot, maybe the love in the eyes of someone caught just for one split second...do you see who that person is right now or can you see the person they are becoming? We tell stories every day but sometimes one look can tell the whole story better than a million words ever could - what can YOU see?

Thank you to our fab guest this week Michelle Soloman (shell-bean) :)

Resolutions - how many of us keep them? do you (like me!!) every new year make yourself a list of resolutions that by February are forgotten? do you try and be realistic or do you go way over the top knowing you wont be keeping them anyway? Have you given up on making promises you can't keep and do you look for solutions instead? However you make your new year resolutions be it a scrap page, a list in a diary or a sampler on the wall - we want to see them :)
