#68

About a boy..... this week we scrap the men in our lives - be they little boys, or the bigger variety! Here are some of our favourite 'about a boy' quotes:

“A boy is a magical creature - you can lock him out of your workshop, but you can't lock him out of your heart.”

“Boys are beyond the range of anybody's sure understanding, at least when they are between the ages of 18 months and 90 years.”

“One of the best things in the world to be is a boy; it requires no experience, but needs some practice to be a good one”

One Small Son

One small hand to hold in yours,
One small face to smile,
One wet kiss as he says "good-night"
One small child.

Catch the moment, put it in your heart
The years too soon will fly.
These are precious moments,
more than money can buy.

Two small arms to hold you tight,
Two small feet to run,
Two small eyes full of love for you,
One small son.

Catch the moment and put it in your heart
and never let it go.
Save it for the years to come,
when he, too will know.

One small hand to hold in his
One small face to smile.
One small kiss and she says "good-night"
One small child.

# 67 Elemental

Our inspiration this week comes in the form of 'Elements' The team were inspired with their photographs featuring Earth, Air, Fire or Water.

Every day we warm ourselves by Fire,

Wash ourselves in Water,

Feel the Wind in our hair,

Walk upon the Earth.

Let the elements influence you this week alongside the team and remember to share you projects with us by adding a link with any comments you would like to leave.

#66

We usually scrapbook to record the lives of our family, be it important events or everyday moments. This week our challenge is to scrapbook beyond this close network of people - and to scrap someone OTHER THAN immediate family - whether it be close friends or people you have never met but have influenced you or reflect you in some way.

#65 Autumn Delights

Summer has been and gone (in a flash it seems!) and are now well and truly into Autumn. The leaves are turning colour and falling from the trees, the last of the produce is being harvested from our gardens and fields and there is a definite chill in the air. We have let ourselves be inspired this week by all this and more ...
